Energy and Focus – Elite Tips

  • Limit blue light throughout day. Not just at night.
  • Bulletproof Workshop Hacks
    • Micro/Macro Trauma Healing (Good to do at least x1/day for a few mins)
    • Shaking: Use your whole body to shake uncontrollably / unhindered for several minutes until your body is shaking almost without your doing so. Breath through belly the whole time. Slowly come back to stillness.
    • Presence
    • Have grounded, diaphragmatic breathing presence when speaking with people to ground them as well and have more heart-centered effective communication.
    • Energize (for mild fatigue / lacking alertness)
    • Energizing breath in out quickly from belly 10 times.
    • Freedom from Negative Emotions
    • Freedom process: Say out loud: “I have <negative emotion> in my <location of body> and freedom.“ E.g. “I have anxiety in my stomach and freedom.”
    • Lower Stress/Anxiety
    • Breathing: Breathe in 4 seconds, breathe out 7 seconds.
  • Mind wandering for a few minutes until you get bored allows you to come back more focused and other benefits.
  • Have a strong purpose and a strong reason why for more energy. Purpose equals hope equals energy.
  • Certain lighting can cause excessive stress to your brain, leading to lack of focus, headaches etc.
    • Avoid overly bright lights or environments. If uncontrollable, wear Irlen glasses which filter the light for you
    • Opt for Incandescent, halogen, or LED lights over fluorescent as red spectrum light is better
    • Indirect sunlight is the ideal lighted environment
  • Eye Health
    • Reset your visual system and brain with eye relaxation: place the palms over your eyes to block all light while doing deep breathing.
    • Eye light optimization to maximize energy and focus (Helen Irlen is the pioneer in this)
    • Look away from your computer screen every 20 minutes by gazing off in the distance.
    • Relax your eyes when reading: have your eyes look slightly down (most do this naturally) since it places less strain on your eyes to look up or parallel to the ground.
    • Strengthen: do figure 8’s with the eyes staring at a wall or otherwise gazing
    • Closing eyes for 5-10 minutes allows in alpha and has some benefits as you rest your visual system.
  • Laying down with feet elevated has some benefits, at least compared to sitting.
  • Causes of low energy
    • Some people are bad methylators so get tested. Would have to supplement with extra b12 vitamins.
    • Bio-toxins such as mold.
    • Infection/viruses.
  • Morning Ritual Example
    • Smile
    • Stretch
    • Water
    • Jump on mini-trampoline (many benefits)
    • Incantations / affirmations: engage body
    • Say or write what you are happy, exited, and grateful about. Then feel it, don’t just do it intellectually.
    • RPM: write down results, purpose, massive action
  • Ionic foot bath for negative ions, essentially grounding (need quality)
  • Red light promotes healing via collagen and mitochondrial synthesis. Blue light wakes you up in the morning, but too much (fluorescent light all day in an office) agitates you.
  • Wall yoga pose: lying on floor with legs up against wall and arms out in “Y” shape
  • Let go. (Dance, cry, express joy)

    • Breath in and out very fast through nose while pumping arms
    • Stage 2: Catharsis
    • Express whatever you feel (cry, laugh, pound chest, ape-shit, etc)

    • Ground pound making “HOAH” sound
    • Stage 4: Tranquility
    • lie down motionless
